Seriously. I know your intentions were to never get my hopes up, I get my hopes up on my own. My hopes were up as a result of all of words spoken to me, actions shown to me, talking about the future, etc. But sometimes, things don’t turn out as planned. You talk about the future and then when there’s no longer a future between two people, you begin to think that everything was a waste (of time), and a perfect example of getting your hopes up. For nothing.
